Meet Rick Jolliff: Real Estate Agent, NWI Resident, Fisherman and Loving Husband
Rick has been a Real Estate Agent since 1978. He left the steel industry to pursue an independent career. He worked in both the labor and management fields, making him a particularly astute advisor for clients looking to buy new construction and investment properties. He says his favorite part of the job is “making 1000’s of friends.”
He has a beautiful wife, Cheri, who has spent her entire career in the Real Estate industry in both lending and title work. She works with Rick and has given herself the title of PPA (Poorly Paid Assistant). He also raised 2 wonderful step children and 1 nephew since his sister passed away.
Before he was a Real Estate Agent, he went to school at IU. He played rugby for 12 years and started a club in NWI that is still doing very well. Besides being a Real Estate Agent, he also has a degree in Accounting and Finance that he got when he was at IU.
Rick has lived in NW Indiana all of his life. He has lived the last 24 years in Valparaiso. He is currently on the Board of Directors for The Merrillville Education Foundation and The Gary Old Timers Athletic Association.
When he’s not working, he enjoys fishing, boating and doing small hobby projects. He also volunteers at the Spring Valley Homeless Shelter, Relay for Life, and he is very active in his church. He is a founding member of the Rock’n Rollers, a musical appreciation/promotion group. He says “ I strongly support the Arts, especially in the schools.”
